Find a peaceful vista from your window.
Studio Plants is a meditation upon time, space and my existence.  I love to watch and study, which is why I have intentionally pivoted away from making artwork that deals with current political and social trends. I choose to focus on the process and psychology of observation and creation. If you'd like to get to know my philosophy, browse this recent interview with The Iowa Arts Council and my artist's statement.

Coming up Dec 3rd at 6:00, The Fitch Studios Winter Open House! (Event page)  Whether the season has you seeking merriment, or you're ready to change the look of your walls, take a look through the halls of Fitch Studios, and please set your sights down the 3rd floor to Studio Holland.  I'll be there!

Olson-Larsen's exhibition of my work has been extended.  Yet plenty of my most recent work will be represented in my studio at the open house...from gift-sized framed c-prints of my latest biomorphic paintings, large intricate 3D drawings, and colorful abstract new & mixed media art.  I'll hang still lifes - some oldies but goodies.  And we can discuss Seeing Fast & Seeing Slow, work in-progress.

Well, the studio will never be in demand for nothing. Perhaps, the clients have seen something unique from you guys that's why
Studio open house is considered for different events that are happening in the community. You guys must be proud of yourselves because this is happening. Actually, I couldn't be more thankful that such thing happens nowadays! By the way, I am so excited to see what Olson-Larsen's exhibition has to offer for me! I am sure it is something exciting!
