Welcome to Studio Holland Art! Thank you for checking me out. -Brent
Want distinct and original art...content?
You've found it! This is the place to gain insight into my artistic vision, and you’ll also benefit from the art business content that my wife, Erica, shares.

Ready to get started?  You just gotta follow us!  (see icons)

Have you ever wondered how some artists seem to be propelled towards success as if a wand was waved over their painting palette - while others just never quite seem to make it?  I have.  I’ve put myself in both extreme camps at one time or another.  In reality, I know I fall in the hard-working class of artistic people who get ahead by creating boundary-pushing art with integrity.  It can be a healthy yet painstaking place to reside, most of the time.  You can learn more about me as an artist today - right here.

Are you curious how an artist approaches a work of art?  Well, it's different for many of us, but I'll try to share with you as honestly as I can the considerations I give before, during and after I create.  If you can't wait, you can start with Splatter - HOW IT'S MADE.

Whether you're an artist, lawyer, foreman, or restaurateur, chances are you work yourself to death most days.  I DO.  Sometimes I feel like I can't finish the project I want to do because there's a list of things I'm obligated to complete first.
Being an educator in the arts has sharpened my skill to teach, discuss and interpret art. Being a family-man, I've got to make meaningful experiences with my four fabulous females in my life (five, including Orca).  Also, being true to my passion as a visual artist means I must prioritize my studio time...while also work on my business.

In addition to sharing insight about how I create a work/life balance,
  • I also will share painting and drawing techniques,
  • details of what I think about while creating artwork,
  • AND ways I'm making a business out of selling artwork...
right here in my blog.  Just make sure to follow me on at least Instagram or Facebook in order to be alerted about new topics I publish.

Plus, you can
subscribe to my newsletter today.  I'm going to offer a collector's print for a limited time.  I plan to offer new ones a few times per year to my friends and patrons.   This is the one I'm offering today: FREE print digital download.

I'm so grateful you found me!  I thank you for just reading this far.  I'm pushing artistic limits more than ever in my upcoming body of work!  I'll talk much more about that in upcoming posts.  Let me add some creativity into your life. Whatever aspect of art you're interested in, I hope you enjoy your visit to my site today.

Friendly reminder, you can actually start a collection of my artwork today.  I offer a FREE print of selective studio artwork on a regular schedule.  You can get your first piece by subscribing here today.  You'll want to keep an eye out for the newsletter to get future offers so you can add to your collection!

When it comes to art, we all know that we cannot claim if our artworks are original or not. There are inspirations and some sort of flattery when you are an artist. You tend to be inspired by the artworks you see from other thus, you tend to make your own version of it. I guess, nothing has wrong with that as long as you don’t copy everything. This tradition has been existing for a couple of centuries already. You might be lucky if you finally came up with something you can wholeheartedly call your own!
